@youssefqazwsx : Guess you meant to say, You need both Windows 7 and OSX in your machine. First  install Snowleopard in your PC patched for MBR[ better on first primary partition ] then go ahead with Windows7 install on another primary partition. You can boot both the OS with Chameleon Bootloader. If you have intel core2 processor use Hackintosh-India boot cd. Refer the guides, and post if you have further queries.

@hackintoshindia OSX could not be installed on a MBR partition format , i did that but when i come to place where i need to choese the partition to install in , he tell me OSX can be install only in a GUID HDD (by the way i use the original snow leopard 10.6 cd) :)

As far as snow leopard is concerned, it is better if you had a leopard hackintosh running, need not be a Mac. If you don't want a Leopard in your PC, you can install it to a temporary partition just to install snow leopard using it, Just give it a try and see.

Say for every version of Hackintosh, where do you start off first to do the tweak to make the hard disk bootable? Im not talking about stepping up from 10.5, Im talking about a clean install. Well you start off by booting the OSX install disc, If you are building a snow leopard from scratch,You need a core2 based system with retail snow leopard disc, and you should be able to boot it with bot132 cd, more guides on installing snow leo from scratch will updated soon on hackintosh-india website.

I think u meant the Snow leopard disc? If you had followed every step from the guide in the site and still could not boot the disc, the best way is to install leopard to a small partition and install snow leopard through leopard. Leopard installation guide can be found on the same site.

Hi mguard14,

Do you use a graphics EFI string? If you do remove it, snow leo does not require a graphics string with chameleon.just use the com.boot.plist from snow leopard files found in the website.

the kexts from the site are updated regularly, the kexts are general, it will work for almost all. It has everything for inspiron 1520 except your wifi card.

There is no Broadcom 440X driver in 64 bit. We are currently making one ourself,we will post it soon,for now u can boot in 32bit mode and use BCM440X driver from leopard,cheers!!.

Just convert one of your windows partitions to Journaled and use the install to a non GUID method, no big deal.
