@mTruck15 mammoth tusk nuts, meaning tat the nut is made from mammoth tusk. i assume wat a nut is in a guitar.. :) i wonder how they get the tusk from an extinct animal.
The attention to detail is undeniably impressive, but I'd love to hear these in person. I'm highly skeptical that the sound justifies the price premium over a high-end Taylor or Martin. Then again, if you've got $8k to drop on a guitar, you probably don't care.
@metalmikebot Dude... That says it all.. Dude... I have two of them, one is an "Off the Shelf" 4.5 from Gruhn Guitars in Nashville and the other is a custom made MG 5.0. I played the MG 5.0 on stage about 5 years ago at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville and the Front of House engineer came up to me after the Gig and said "That's the best sounding guitar I have ever heard on that stage"... That's pretty high praise coming from that FOH guy.... So much for Martin and Taylor... :) Try it!!
I wonder, if they only make stuff like this, how they can possibly keep their business running, i mean, it cant be cheap and it has to take alot of time making those guitars, and theres probably not thousands of people who are buying them, guessing that they cost shitloads ofc
@achece1996 Pardon me while I geek out here, but they actually have done a truly ridiculous amount of research and testing to find the absolute best position, shape and SIZE of the soundhole. No joke. Scientifically speaking, each guitar's soundhole is actually tuned to that particular guitar.
@trendsettingdesign "each guitar's soundhole is actually tuned to that particular guitar." What a load of crap. Every top is cut out by a CNC and is exactly the same. They assemble CNC made guitar parts. I know someone who works there. If someone wants to buy them and they love them then cool. Good for them, but lets call a spade a spade. The dude playing in the video though, while he looks like a stoner, does play quite nice.

I think, with these sort of gutars, you have to audition to get them, and the better you play, the more discount you get,
also, ITS OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!
