@pelist3rka Yeah but if one would intensely modify a car its isn't really a manufacturers car anymore. Besides RS stands for Race Sport (Rennsport). So why can't u take an S8 and modify it with racing aftermarket gear and call it RS8. It has become a RaceSport Edition.

And if u think the other way arround. U got for an example an VW GTI and take of all the stuff that makes it an GTI (engine, suspension, etc) and replace with the 1.4 or something. Is it still an GTI?

All of Audis S models have 2 round exhaust pipes in each side. The RS models have 1 oval pipe in each side. Besides, the top model in the A8 series was the A8 5.2L V10 FSI, same model as in the video.

The brand new S8 will come with a +500 hp V8.

@TheDJJabba der golf vergleich ist natürlich so gesehen korrekt. über den titel des videos kann man sich streiten ok. es ist natürlich "nur" ein getunter s8, aber dass TC dem auto dann einen "eigenen" namen gibt ist doch eigentlich völlig legitim, wenn nicht so gar normal. wie gesagt den "audi rs6r" gibts ja auch nicht von audi selbst. beim "rs8" haben die halt einfach das "r" drangehangen.. ist ja in dem sinne nur ein zusatz, kein ersatz. vergleichbar mit alpina bei bmw und amg bei mercedes..

Ummm.. no... I happen to own an 2007 Audi S8 and can tell the difference between both. The S8 has silver rear view mirror covers and this one doesn't. Plus the S8 is based of the short-wheel A8 with a 5.2 V10 engine after the 2006 production. Again this one in particular is on rims and has the Miltek exhaust package. There is no such thing as an Audi RS8. Do you research before you make yourself look stupid worldwide...
