I really don't care what anybody says, this movie is genius. It's beautiful, inspirational and a joy to watch. Barbra sings her heart out and gives her all on the screen. Everything just came together at once with this film.

Absolutely. It was very under-rated. Unfortunately, people were terribly (and understandably) weary of her heavy-handed touch to "Star is Born", which is rather shlocky compared to the haunting beauty of "Yentl"'s look.
