I love my c55! I'm going to throw a kleeman supercharger, and a couple other goodies now that I'm getting close to th 50k mark. I'd get th new c63 but I think that Mercedes aren't really worth the money anymore. I think my next car will be an audim or the nissan gtr
Sorry for butting in but my understanding is that modern engines are essentially broken in at the factory. Some engines are run in the dyno, which is an insanely brutal process. The owner breaking in the engine is a thing of the past.
You are basicaly right, the car wont brake down or perform any different, however every manual still asks to be gentle(not to go above 4500 rpms) for the first 600-800 miles.
I think its reasonable to let the engine go trough "street" driving brake in for the first 500 miles, you can punch it, just dont put it in the second gear and keep it near redline while you are going trough the twists
my video. my car is slightly faster than me you're talking about, about 0.2 sec or so. handling is great really but it emphisizes luxury more than a bimmer, so its prone to understeer instead of oversteer, although the later could be easily achieved in merc. i think its better for safety
just wondering in this vid are u using the AMG speedshitf? or the tiptronic/ shift paddles? cause its shifting at pretty high gears even though AMG does that :) and jsut wondering wats better this or a C32? cause i know they have the same 0-60 at times...
what is consumption in city,higway when driving normal???
