Tokido is one of my favorite players, and I love seeing him dominate, but it's even more satisfying to see scrappy fights like this in which he has to work harder for the win. Props to the Sakura player. Very good fight.

Good match on both ends, the sakura was able to deal with the pressure and land the blows needed. Though I gotta wonder, it can't be safe to air fireball unless sak. doesn't have U2 ready or isn't able to reversal into it.

Some people say Sakura is overpowered after watching Uryo in Godsgarden. I don't see it. She has excellent combo potential but other than that, she doesn't have that much advantage over other Tier A characters. Her projectile is slow as nail and her anti-air is very tricky. Akuma's combo potential is also very high. Just look at the beginning of round 3. Sakura lost like 45% of health from one combo chain.

@jibikao Sakura is overpowered, but I've thought that before I knew who Uyro was. Her combos can do around 40-50% and they don't really require good execution. Her frametraps are ridiculous and the mix-up opportunities after EX shunpukyaku is crazy. Her anti-air is actually the best in the game, you can't even do burning kick mix-ups (close up) with Viper on her because it destroys them, and in AE, Kindevu says that Sakura is A tier (Balrog's A) which is a HUGE jump from second worst character.

@TEEN1DOL I'm not, she really isn't that hard to use. Her execution isn't that high (then again I have pretty good execution. I think knowing Super Jump Cancel into ultra with Viper basically every shot is pretty good) and I know because I used to use Sakura and I did most of her longer combos on focus attacks. To be honest, she didn't need to be buffed from Super to AE. I guess her normal uppercuts could've gotten better priority but that's it.

@onymarth I guess Tier A isn't as overpowered as Tier S like Fei, Yun and Yang. Akuma, if I remember correctly, is also Tier A. I also remember Makoto is Tier A too? That's a huge jump.
