For some 100mil isk is a lot. For others it is nothing. Try to see past that and se what this video is really about.

It has mothing to do with the amount of the isk. It is about his/her decision. The decision to be a non eve caracteristique person. He/she showed us that money is not really important, but his/her image in game is worth much more than 100mil isk.

Also the ISK at the end of the number makes your dollar sign redundant. The ISK is there so they dont have to conform to every other game where dollars are the staple currency which really pisses off all of the "Fuck you America" guys who like to play games...

100 mil ISK for a null sec corp officer is like taking a quarter out of your pocket and giving it to a bum. They are just throwing you a little bone so you might want to check out how awesome they are and then recruit you as an extra hand. It's a way of also saying...look, we are poweful and if you roll with us, you're gonna kick arse!

It still sounds like a scam. A BIG scam is "Join our corp, bring all your stuff", then you join the corp, they fleet you. "Warp to us, we'll escort you". Then they blow your ass up & take all your stuff.

100 million is about what I make in a level 4 Angel Extravaganza, with salvage and loot and bounties, on "easy mode" in a Drake (can play AFK almost). It still could be a scam.

When i first started EveO, someone came into the rookie system i was in, and started offering people small amounts of startup cash, it was only 5m, back then it was a lot, but not its peanuts, i was determined to do well by myself, so i sent it back and said thanks for the offer, but its cool that there are people who do that, not everyone in eve is generous.

Some players will kill you for just the fun aspect of it, and nothing more ;-)
