I recommend, to NOT JAILBREAK YOUR IPHONE OR IPOD TOUCH!!!!!!!!!!! My friend has it jail broken and she cant get some apps because in the app store for the jail broken ipods/iphones. Also it takes FOREVER to load and if you have multiple apps downloading, you cant play or use them until all apps are finished downloading.

this app rots. every time a change is made, ie. firmware or anything to do with the subsystem via pwnage for example the categories system is corrupted and u have to delete stuff, and then start over. I even paid for catagoriesSB which does nothing to help. what a waste of time!

Yeah, iOS4 is pure shit with a 3G, so I wouldn't suggest getting it. You will wan to downgrade ASAP. And iOS4 has been jailbroken and unlocked for about 5 days now.

i downloaded this categories app and made some folders that were on my home screen.

And now i deleted the categories app without deleting the folders and now my folders are still on my homescreen and i cant delete them.

if u deleted categories already u have to install it again nd when u do that itll still have all the folders you created, you have to just delete the folders then delete categories and it should work, i had the same problem

You may be able to install Cydelete from Cydia and that allows you to delete apps as you do ones from app store(holding one down until they move and then hiting the small x)

if you have trouble with not getting icons on your folder, hit the edit button on the top left of the categories. then tap on the folder you want and then tap icon and you can chose which one you want.

Try to open winterboard and se if its hidden. It might just be able to bring it back.

nevermind, i fixed it. you might have deleted the big boss's source or just not got it for some reason. you go to all sourses on the menu and you look for big boss download it then go back to categories and download that. it should fix it
