What I admire from Satriani is he doesn't lose the sense of notes to shape the nuances and structure of the song whereas the song is unique and technically pretty dificult to play, he knows how to use his creative licks in the right song in the right time. This song is good example.

I remember when this album came out, people in general hated it - Joe singing, wacky songs etc. Not me, I was properly and totally stunned, Joe with a real band for the first time on an album, playing fabulous music! This is one of the most dynamic albums he has ever recorded.
