My wife got me this book for Christmas last year. Don't believe it - Quantum Theory DOES hurt you! By being so blinking interesting that you stay up all hours of the morning (4:13 am), speculating about various bits of quantum theory! Then you're tired the next morning and your colleagues think you're a little nuts when you try to explain that in a different universe you didn't read the book, went to bed early and are now in fact not tired...
It's been 2,000 years of study and learning, and even we've come along way in the west. yet sadly, there are those who want to ignore those 2,000 years and keep with iron age traditions. Shame on them.
Quantum theory doesn't hurt me, it just that my brain has trouble comprehending. I thank the physicists that have done such a great job explaining it such as this guy, as it helps. Otherwise I'm just trying to wrap my mind around some of it.
How did you know the universe is more complex than we ever imagined?
Errr, science unravelled it. Not "god did it". But here you are trashing 400 years of scientific research. A science writer.
And is this a scientific opinion or regurgitated religious hunch. OK lets see how much you really know about quatum physics. How about deriving some of the equations for us to see where they are wrong.
Hi,Excellent video.I am reading your book,"Never Ending Days."I have been studying Metaphysics for several years and more recently Quantum Mechanics.I have had and continue to have, many interesting ESP experiences. When I am composing music, creating art,I become receptive and in unity with the Infinite Mind.I feel sure that the quantum field cares.
These other "universes" are actually the other dimensions theists have been referring to for centuries

May be Quantum Theory cannot hurt you, but Quantum Field Theory CAN (and probably will) hurt you !
