I charge hourly so scoring standard plywood on one side works well for me dollar-wise. I've tried mudding porous plywood before and it tends to crack as the weather and humidity changes so I stick to scoring the backside of the gypsum sheet, or glue strips on (depends on the job - columns and bowed out walls I use scored top to bottom, arches strips glued with space like lath). Each job has it's own quirks, nice to have half a dozen options than just one. Very good videos though.
That is a good question.I have heard it order as bendable plywood, wiggle plywood, vertical grain plywood, and wacky plywood.I suppose its where you are as to what its called but you only have to find it once,I will try to find out the company that makes it and will reply again===Bob
Just discovered your channel - thank you so much for all your time and expertise.

that kind of plywood was used in Romania more than 20 years ago, it was called TEGO, and was very cheap.

I also use a similar plywood for the arches and arched kits.
Of course porous plywood tends to crack as the weather and humidity changes, but still it's a very good material.
