Andrew, it's my understanding that Kaiser (it's pronounced Kiser - the "a" is silent; and yes they are huge) let both go "for cause." There must have been some misconduct or performance issue. Kaiser had no obligation to give them anything to keep them afloat; sorry, we are, NOT YET, a total social system down here. Besides, had it been a layoff they would qualify for unemployment benefits. Don't put the onus on Kaiser for what these losers did to their children.
WOW! That is unreal! It is so sad what people are going through, but it says alot about the times we are living in and people's priorities. My family could absolutely live off the land if we had to and it's sad that the majority could not. They have a hard enough time living with less. SAD story

I have heard it wasnt 100% clear if he worked there. So ya it would make sense if they were fired that they didnt receive anything.
And i must say it does look like they were trying to run away from something.
Ill make a follow up tomorrow with the new updates.
