@MannyFresh1x yes but brushless motor isnt really only fact that it is its because its sealed.but if water gets inside of it ouchy.and it heats alot.i have both 1/16 vxl revo and 1/16 brushed summit and summit with that big wide open motor never heats water goes threw it no problem keep spinning to dry it.Vxl offers alot more end speed though but id never take a chance to fully submerge the velineon

pls remember wd40 is flammable.. do not put inside motors to clean it O_o but dont be shy! to spray those wheel bearings with wd40 when in the snow =).

Don't over do it in water, the motors should overheat in some of the situations, but the water is cooling it. My brother and I both had to replace our motors. We have a Rustler and Stampede.

you buy a brushed e-revo when you want to keep the truck water proof and its cheaper that why. plus it makes even more secse geting it brushed revo if you are planing on running a diffrent setup then the mamba . and if you are on a budget and want a e-revo you can get brushed .

When is says waterproof on the box i think they meen you can drive it in rain,snow and puddles, NOT in the bath lol.

Ive just sold my revo 3.3 as im so fed up with nitros and the problems that come with them so ive got a 1/16th scale revo vxl coming in 3 days but i WONT be putting it in the bath but like some of the other comments it does look like a good way to clean it :)

dude if you go swimming with your ride there a couple things you can do to keep it from rusting. Water proof or not if you get it wet you need to clean everything the same day,,, after that everything that can rust, will rust or corrode. Traxxas will put on a box that something is waterproof but skip the (extra cleaning details if you do choose to put it in water) I would call traxxas and get the exact detail on what to prep on this kit for the water,,
