@Zylo587: Stalin was a dictator, but the Axis was a military pact formed by fascist dictatorships with capitalist economies, and any socialist state like the USSR or Mongolia would've never been accepted, because its ideology was in total opposition to the other members, and in consequence, no, he was not "technically a member of the axis". He was just an imperialist hungry-for-power ruler who converted the Soviet Union from a socialist workers' state to a profit-driven authoritarian state!

I'd play with Lenin more than with any world leader ever, but until they add him in one of the games in the series, I guess I'll have to settle with other leaders... Stalin is not really better than Catherine or Peter, cause he stalled the democratic revolutionary progress and killed millions of people, including former Bolsheviks, in order to subdue the country to his dictatorship.

The amazing thing is how well a typical westerner responds to propaganda. during WW2 america released pro-stalin posters with the slogan "Uncle joe". and afterwards? he was a villian. the thing is people usually CHANGE their opinion on him and it corresponds perfectly with the intended propaganda. He did harsh things, but no harsher than most western leaders who we're told are heroes.
