LM is what I have on all my vehicles (02 WS6, 05 300C) My friend has a 2010 Camaro SS with SLP LM Axle-back and it sounds amazing. Let me ask you what kind of car do you have?

Hey man, i have a 98 ws6 and im looking to get this exhaust system but ive heard stories of people getting tickets for it being too loud. Do you have a problem with this. I live in nc and i really want some badass exhaust but i dont want to get in trouble for it.

@purpleWS6ls1 That just cops being ass holes, the only way you will get in trouble is if your exhaust doesnt pass your emission control... like where I live I cant have LT headers cause it wont pass smog but any catback is 50 state legal.

I like Loudmouths.They're not polite.Theyre not smooth or mellow sounding.They cackle.They're loud as fuck even with stock manifolds and cats.Thats just how cool they are.I cant wait to get some longtubes and an ORY for my LT1 T/A ;) My whole town will hate me. :D

I have a 1998 Trans Am, all stock right now but I'm trying to figure out if I should get SLP Loudmouth or Borla. What was done to your TA when you made this video besides the exhaust?

It had nothing done to it except for the SLP lid...that's it. All cars will sound different. Borla is an awesome exhaust, but about double the price of the loudmouth. It all depends if you want a refined exhaust note, or a LOUD exhaust.

Yea Borla sounds amazing but some videos of the SLP Loudmouth like yours sound pretty amazing as well. Loudmouth is still pretty damn loud and has a nice idle sound I assume right?

Honestly it's not a HUGE difference, but yeah you feel it pull a bit harder than stock. I think most of it is what goes on mentally though. The car really doesn't wake up until you add longtubes to the car. Then, the power difference is HUGE

pretty much yes. It's the loudmouth 1 and the only other mod i had done at the time is the SLP air lid and filter.

Oh you have no idea. I just finished installing SLP Longtubes on it last night. it's about 2 times more mean / loud sounding. I'll get a clip as soon as it's a bit later in the day. Don't think my neighbors would appreciate it much at 8am LOL!

i have a slp lm catback on my 99 ls1 and it sounds pretty nice but im planning on putting LT's and a ORY i heard the slp LT's are awesome and they should be for like 900 bucks lol, tell me how it is as like in how hard it was to put them on your car and what not

Well i went ahead and installed them this past weekend. I gotta tell ya, everybody makes it out to be a HUGE pain to install. I jacked my car up to the max height in my garage and had no issues with them whatsoever...and they claim that SLP headers are the worst to install. It only took a lot of time, but nothing was difficult at all. Can't wait to start it up, i gotta get the 02's plugged in now. Then i'll post up a video

I have an '02 Trans Am with as far as I know is the stock exhaust. I want it louder. My GF has a '99 Z/28 and her's is not nearly as loud as mine. Does anyone know if the Z/28's came with a quieter exhaust than the Trans Am's? I would hate to spend a bunch of money on a new exhaust, if the previous owner has already done it! BTW, My T/A has 35k miles on it and and the Z/28 has about 29k miles on it, so mileage shouldn't be a factor in mine being so much louder than hers.

Well if both of your cars are stock, they virtually the same. Although I will tell you, every engine does sound different, but if your car is significantly louder, than you may have an aftermarket muffler in there. Is your's a WS6 T/A? But what it comes down to is that you said you want your car to be louder, so weather it has an aftermarket exhaust or not, if you want it louder change it out.

Not a WS6, unfortunetly, but it is an NHRA special edition (with M6/Hurst Shifter!) Someday, I'll put headers on it as well as the SLP Loud Mouth.

Thanks man, and the only other mod i have done to the car that would effect the sound is the SLP air lid. Other than that, the car is stock performance-wise. Oh and btw, its louder and meaner in person ;-) Go with the SLP you WONT be dissapointed

thanks. Yeah it is just the SLP Loudmouth 1 catback and i've also got the SLP air lid w/ a K&N filter. No headers or anything (yet) If you do those mods, it should sound similar to what i've got. It won't be exactly the same cause all ls1's sound a little bit different from one another.

well it all depends what you like. If you like really mean and loud go with the LM1. The LM2 has a resonator that is a little wider around and it is ceramic coated. It is quieter and gives it more of an exotic V8 tone rather than pure loudness. Also they claim it is better flowing, but there is virtually no difference whatsoever. The good news with the LM system is that the mufflers are interchangable, so you can switch them in a few minutes if you dont like the sound of one of them.
