Amen, the opening is just Melrose Place and an underwater sequence, it totally bites, and I wish this was the opening and bring the magic back to the show and get the ratings up even though Heather Locklear is returning on November 17th.

FYI...it was just announced in mid/end of June that Josie Bissett (Jane Mancini...Michael's 1st wife & Sydney's sister) will officially return to the CW & join Melrose Place 2.0 !!...

Looks like that's a 3rd "special guest star" to add to the line up..haha.

I just noticed something the Stephanie Jacobsen footage are from her work on the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, if the CW used this opening the footage of Katie Cassidy and Colin Egglesfield are great, they would have to change Stephanie's and Ryan Eggold isn't on this show or is he?

Working in the industry myself I can tell you that this is a really good updated take on the original MP opening. Keep up the good work I'll be watching for updates!
