Ellaskins Im a producr and im using the 8A's to mix my songs on. Do you have to turn the base and treble to 12 o'clock for a flat response because im mixing with them off.

"Gubbins" is a chiefly British and by now old-fashioned slang term that originally meant the fragments of something. It then became used to describe an amount of nondescript (and presumably useless) bits and pieces - "I can't even get into the shed because your father's got all his old gubbins lying around." nice use of the language there J!!! LOL

These are not on the KAM site either! I had to get the info from retailers sites.

They're 35 watts and around £120. KAM also do a 6A and 12A.

to groovindj. They are no good for full on bass, but for a near field set up they are quite good.I like the clarity of the high range. j

I got a powered EV speaker... my friend works at sam ash and gets EV's at retail price.

AMPS are old school, powered speakers are new school and easier to transport!
