Jim Murray was working in Las Vegas and called Larry Gatlin to come and join them which started Larry's career. Friends for 30 years.

The singer in the navy jacket (with glasses) is Jim Murray. Jim was the tenor of the Imperials Quartet and actually sang there with Jake Hess in the early days of the quartet. There are several selections on you-tube featuring this quartet with Jim.
