I don't hate Chris like most Madonna fans do. I read the book and it was fascinating to see Madonna from the inside. She is not all good but she isn't all evil either, like anyone. The book left a bitter taste in my mouth! Its not a great family story! Its very sad! As a fan I have noticed its full of errors regarding her career and many things are eighter already known or left out! He comes across as a little diva, moaning about accomodation and flights, it had to be first class and suites all the time!A lot of talk about money that he wanted from her for this and that!And he fired off some really nasty emails to her!I can understand why he hates "homophobic" Guy Ritchie!
Madonna is an artist and artist's are often notoriously temperamental. You can't complain about it - he's lucky he got so close to her and she did help him a great deal.
But of course; the book/their fall out - they both need to grow up and realize they are family. Nothing should come between that and they need to grow up and forgive one another for their mistakes. We are only human. You only get one family.

my favorite story in the book involves madonna, christopher, and a burning kimona! the dolly parton story is good too.
