  • Totally agree that Waylon holds up today as well as back in his heyday. The pop country won't. But there are certain artists today that will hold up. Have you checked out Eric Church. He has a cover or two on Youtube of this one. Good stuff. A bit more rockin than Waylon's country but still good.

  • @anjona03 there is a name for that so called country of today its POP!

  • Waylon is one of those great Country singers who is true Country not this made up stuff we have today........Todays music stinks.......

  • This is back when Country was Country! Should be a different name for today's so called Country.

  • Not much real country music these days. I know what real country music is. this is real country music.

  • There's cool, and there's Waylon Jennings cool.

  • This band is so amazing, the bass is slamming and outro is sick!

  • RIP Waylon

  • is that Shooter playin in the back?

  • Coldovon, you nailed it.

  • There are some young bucks out there that Nashville will not let in. and it's a shame you have to but satellite radio to hear them.

  • Waylon is awsome. I think its cool how the next generation of country referes to the past. Waylon sings songs about hank sr., Jamey Johnson sings songs about waylon, and hopefully it will continue that way. Todays country needs to go back to how it was in the past when there were real country singers playing country and western and outlaw country. all thats left is jamey now

  • He pistol whipped a music producer in Nashville for changing the sound of his music. After that, he was the first country performer that had full control of his music

  • @MrStitch105, actually i heard an interview with him last night, we just walked in wearing a gun that he had lent to one of his producers and basically said that if anyone played any pick up notes on the song he would shoot their fingers off.... still badass

  • after jammin this....i need a pbr

  • @bboy19788 I got the pabst THEN cranked it up.. waaay better. lol

  • True that Hank williams III is the man real outlaw! jamie johnson is good too but Hank III is not like him at all Hank is real

  • You guys should check out Scott H. Biram and Hank III, they're keepin' outlaw country alive!

  • As soon as hank jr alan jackson george jones and merle haggard are gone all will have left is jamey johnson our faith is on him!!!

  • Absolutely wonderful, never again will country music reach such hights as in back in the days of Waylon, Johnny, Merle and HankJr

  • @Coldovon gotta love the outlaws
