Hello George, Sorry I haven't responded sooner but I usaully never check this.

But in answer to your questions, My father had 2 wonderful & productive years since his heart valve operation. Unfortunately he passed away 3 weeks ago on July 1st for other reasons not due to his heart valve. I work in healthcare and know his surgeons well. This had been a very sucessful procedure for my father and the 31 other patients that were done at MGHBest of luck with your dad
