I got chills. Dark Samus was a great villain in Echos because she was a relentless monster that just followed you around and messed up your day without any consideration for the rest of the plot. The fact that as soon as you beat Emperor Ing and you think you've won, she just pops right in front of you and tries to kill you AGAIN is great.
In Corruption, Dark Samus became a lot less unique, but I did like the fight with her (But not the fight with the AU).

I agree, some sort of Metroid Prime essence would have made a much better final boss than the AU did in Prime 3. I found that fight to be pretty anticlimactic. >_>

What would have been the most epic finish ever would be if dark samus's suit exploded, and it tried to take your suit, like it did in MP 1. But then when the tentacle attaches, Samus said "oh no you- DON'T!" and as she said the last word, charged up her hyperbeam, and at full charge, shot all down the tentacle. then you would have to escape Phaaze.

I googled around a bit but couldn't find the pics you used in your videos, or they where not in HD, or very low quality.

I have no doubt that when I play Trilogy, I will play this song during the fight between Metroid Prime Essence in MP1 and then the final fight with Dark Samus in MP2/3

Everything explode. Space Pirates are eradicated, Samus is missing, probably dead, Metroids are now extinct. Peace is back, forever.
Space Pirates are back. Samus tracks them back and finally enter their command center. Only to discover Mother Brain, AGAIN.

I also know that the true essence of Metroid Prime never made a second appearance in the trilogy, as I hoped it would after besting Dark Samus. What I wished was for Dark Samus to shed it's borrowed shell and recompose it's true form for one last showdown.

someone should make a flash in which just before the normal point of which dark samus would die she actually teleports you and your ship off the planet and into space and then afterwards you see dark samus and just when you think you have to fight her once more, you will find out that she transforms herself into the metroid prime essence one more and you have to fight it but there is only one draw back and that is that the metroid prime essence is seven times stronger than it used to be.
A great compo. as usual, but yet, why do you never finish your mixes properly?
You always make it fade while it's still playing, which is a lazy-ass way of finishing something epic dont'cha think?
Why not finish up with your own hand-crafted epic 'Prime wail' (the synth sound constantly used in Prime music), or maybe the epic ending when Samus just barely escapes the Ing's clutches after leaping out of the portal in Prime2?
@Hysteria98 Well, this piece was arranged in a similar fashion to an in game piece and was constructed to loop. It only fades in the video to give it pause. I'm also unable to duplicate the sounds and synths used in the Prime tracks. If I did, I'd scrap the megamix altogether and create a proper remix.

Samus shoots dark samus and dark samus starts overloading with energy. Instead of blowing up she reverts back to the metroid prime, but due to the large ammounts of phazon absorbed as dark samus it is incredibly powerful and has much more attacks.
Thanks. BTW, Dark Samus is technically the mutated form of Metroid Prime inhabiting an embodiment comprised of Samus' DNA. However, it's true essence (the form you battle at the end of Prime 1 is the being I refer to when speaking of MP's true essence. If I could have fought that beast again at the end of Prime 3, I would have been elated.

@okitroid Ah, that's the beta title screen theme for Metroid Prime. Its hard to find, but DaDude261 has it on his channel. It's a relatively short track, but it's still impressive.
@Spaced20 If I might add to that image, the planet itself is beginning to crumble as Prime pulls as much energy from Phaaze as it can to stay alive. Prime then uses it's Phazon control to push the platform it and Samus are on out from underground, rising higher and higher, becoming a plateau above the smoldering planet and beneath the raging sky. There, on the brink of destruction, Samus and Metroid Prime fight to the death.

@Varce Ah, that would be the Aurora Unit Breifing theme from Corruption, which is essentially the theme of Super Metroid. In this mix it starts at 0:32, dominates the melody at 0:39 and ends at 0:45.
Another great one. I acctually mixed Metroid prime's battle theme with both of the dark samus ones. but ive never mixed this many songs together. u pulled off another awesome one. love it, great job! :D
The "Super Metroid" intro music that you use in the back around 1:01 to 1:04 should be used more in your pieces. Makes everything "Metroid-esque" in a nostalgic way if you know what I mean.
@darksamusz That's true. I've even considered my options should such a catastrophe occur. Problem is, my access to a computer isn't nearly as convenient as my own. It would be a huge dent in my ability to produce mixes at any rate, to the effectual end of my production schedule, not to mention the various search methods I've customized to find music on my computer.
@Hauntershadow I think you should purchase an external hard drive, and back up your files to it every so often. My computer crashed last year as I was finishing my final book report. I was pissed. However, thanks to my external I had backed up onto the night before, I was spared the humiliation of rewriting it, and even got a damn near full score.

someone should make a flash in which just before the normal point of which dark samus would die she actually teleports you and your ship off the planet and into space and then afterwards you see dark samus and just when you think you have to fight her once more, you will find out that she transforms herself into the metroid prime essence one more and you have to fight it but there is only one draw back and that is that the metroid prime essence is seven times stronger than it used to be.

A great compo. as usual, but yet, why do you never finish your mixes properly?
You always make it fade while it's still playing, which is a lazy-ass way of finishing something epic dont'cha think?
Why not finish up with your own hand-crafted epic 'Prime wail' (the synth sound constantly used in Prime music), or maybe the epic ending when Samus just barely escapes the Ing's clutches after leaping out of the portal in Prime2?

@Hysteria98 Well, this piece was arranged in a similar fashion to an in game piece and was constructed to loop. It only fades in the video to give it pause. I'm also unable to duplicate the sounds and synths used in the Prime tracks. If I did, I'd scrap the megamix altogether and create a proper remix.

@Hauntershadow I don't suppose it's your fault, i just generally thought hearing one of my dreams of fused metroid music would've been Legendary, but i suppose it doesn't work out as hoped, maybe with other-such tracks, like some of the wicked stuff you've done, e.g: Twinsanity boss mixed with Quadraxis, now THAT was Legendary, cant believe how awesome that was,especially considering what GAME it came from, geez.

I am almost 100 percent sure everyone in the Metroid fandom wanted Retro to do another sequel. It is too bad that they won't. But maybe someday they'll make a different Metroid series.

Samus shoots dark samus and dark samus starts overloading with energy. Instead of blowing up she reverts back to the metroid prime, but due to the large ammounts of phazon absorbed as dark samus it is incredibly powerful and has much more attacks.

Thanks. BTW, Dark Samus is technically the mutated form of Metroid Prime inhabiting an embodiment comprised of Samus' DNA. However, it's true essence (the form you battle at the end of Prime 1 is the being I refer to when speaking of MP's true essence. If I could have fought that beast again at the end of Prime 3, I would have been elated.

@Spaced20 If I might add to that image, the planet itself is beginning to crumble as Prime pulls as much energy from Phaaze as it can to stay alive. Prime then uses it's Phazon control to push the platform it and Samus are on out from underground, rising higher and higher, becoming a plateau above the smoldering planet and beneath the raging sky. There, on the brink of destruction, Samus and Metroid Prime fight to the death.

@Varce Ah, that would be the Aurora Unit Breifing theme from Corruption, which is essentially the theme of Super Metroid. In this mix it starts at 0:32, dominates the melody at 0:39 and ends at 0:45.

Another great one. I acctually mixed Metroid prime's battle theme with both of the dark samus ones. but ive never mixed this many songs together. u pulled off another awesome one. love it, great job! :D

The "Super Metroid" intro music that you use in the back around 1:01 to 1:04 should be used more in your pieces. Makes everything "Metroid-esque" in a nostalgic way if you know what I mean.

@darksamusz That's true. I've even considered my options should such a catastrophe occur. Problem is, my access to a computer isn't nearly as convenient as my own. It would be a huge dent in my ability to produce mixes at any rate, to the effectual end of my production schedule, not to mention the various search methods I've customized to find music on my computer.

@Hauntershadow I think you should purchase an external hard drive, and back up your files to it every so often. My computer crashed last year as I was finishing my final book report. I was pissed. However, thanks to my external I had backed up onto the night before, I was spared the humiliation of rewriting it, and even got a damn near full score.
