Not really tips, because you sound great, but it feels like your trying really hard to play all the doublestops SRV does. Don't! Use your thumb for the bass notes and, when your playing on the pentatonic, use your first finger to bar across the first notes i.e fret 5 on A minor. Then you'll get that crunchy SRV sound just by whacking the strings around the one you're playing. It comes with a slight loss in speed and precision, so you'll have to work on that.

ahh, you noticed my biggest flaw on this song!! I hate that chord that SRV plays...not that I don't hate the sound of it on the original version, but I hate that its SO DAMN HARD TO PLAY!...If you noticed, I don't play at all with my pinky finger and that chord almost requires six damn fingers! I wish I could play it, but my hand just won't allow me to so I have to improvise the best I can.

Yeah, my buddy actually borrowed my guitar over christmas break and put 12 guage on em (I'm used to playing on 10's), so the combination of heavy and old strings kinda made it go out of tune....can't notice too much except for the end and beginning but oh well
