But can I ask why you use a flash nose-band on him? There are plenty of ways to get a horse to listen without the cruelty of using a flash nose-band. No hate intended, just would like to know. Have you ever tried riding him without one?
:S I hate nosebands. Ya know what they do?. well. horses open their mouths when they have bits in because when you pull on the bit the Joint part digs into the top of their mouths. :/ And so when they open their mouths it cant dig the top of their mouths. but Nosebands keep their mouths shut and then they cant open their mouths so they have to put up with the pain. :/ Pretty horse though.
@TheAbbBoo thank you, but i am very aware. that is why people use nose bands. if the bit is loose in the mouth or not on the tongue then the rider has less control. that is the only reason people ride in them. even in just a nose band and no flash my mare goes alone with her mouth wide open therefore avoiding my aids.
@sarahhorsemad Oh, that so cool, could u watch some of my videos with my haflinger, and possibly give me some tips? I tried getting her to jump, but i can barely get her to canter indoors. Ive been having her trot over a single ground pole, i tried setting up three of them, but she ends up walking over them, or she'll jump over them, or something weird. I havent gotten her to actually trot over them. I should try to the ground next time...
@mirokupurple yeah sure, how old is she?? mabye try trotting poles that are 2-3 strides apart so it is easyer to take in and understand insted of all the poles a stride apart and gradually bringing them in?
Amazing i have a Haffy!! I have been riding for 2 years, and adore jumping i used to be terrified just try a few times and you will love it!! Great jumping in this vid by the way just watch your leg it pops back a little :)
Hello, I seem to know much about haflingers, could you help me with something?
Q: Ok, I just leased a big haflinger mare and shes only been ridden 3 times since summer, I decided to start jumping her in about a mounth, is that ok for the haflinger? (I ride her 3 times a week)
heey! well done. i also have a haflinger if you look at the 2 9 jump 1:14 look at the front to legs she lifted one up and then the other. stick to 2 6 jumps for a while. x
Very good video ! ;)

Und ja,das arme Pony,es hat bestimmt sehr darunter gelitten, wie sie abgestiegen ist :D

when the the tongeu over the bit do that means that they have pain,
when you have a noseband than he must ride with pain :(
