Nice car! I wish Ford reintroduced Ford Scorpio V6 and V8. If the do I'm selling ma Volvo S80 !!! I used to have 89 Scorpio 2.0, 93, 2.9 V6 and 96 2.9 V6 Cosworth. All of these cars were brilliant I loved them over BMW 5 and Volvo. Ford has made a big mistake when they stopped making Ford Scorpio !!!

Mondeo ST220! I just got one 3 months ago and I love it. Cruising down the autobahn at 220kmh is easy. The engine sound is amazing and the speed is enough to run with the new BMW, Audi and Benz. Haven't seen many on the road so this makes me happy to own one.

@1989Radek the new A6 3.0 TDI has 230-240 hp and does the 0-200 in 30 seconds ... impossible for a 150 hp 2.0 diesel do it in 30 seconds ... miscalculated if your 150 hp 2.0 has to be done in about 45 seconds ... I'm not lying!

Guys its a Jag engine. Not Ford America. its a 2967cc V6 lifted straight from a Jag XJ6. It is mapped different but the same basic unit. Bluefin brings power up to approx 240bhp

@urc7555 It's a Ford engine made by Cosworth. It's in Mazda's, Fords, Jags, Noble, and maybe some others. Nice Mondeo!! I wish the sold the ST220's in North America.

@urc7555 And who owned Jag at the time they were using this engine ? FORD!! Its made in Cleveland USA, the Jag unit is slightly different as it uses variable valve timing (with different cylinder heads) and other detail changes, which is why it makes more power. Adding a Bluefin does not take 226bhp to 240bhp, you need to do other things to it first then add the Bluefin as alone, it does nothing but improve driveability.

not very fast ... in my old mondeo v6 170 hp 0 - 150 ( end of 3 gear ) in about 15 seconds ( on my video ) it is the same as your 225 hp younger mondeo.... i have one more car - opel vectra gts v6 3.2 aln it is faster tahen your mondeo ( 0 - 150 in about 12 - 13 seconds.... )

I think, that it was quite slow for 226 ps. My polo 9n3 131 TDI ( weighs 1090 kg ) 0-100= 8.1 sec ( Mondeo 7.3 ), 0-130= 13.0 ( Mondeo 11.5 ), 0-160= about 20 ( Mondeo 17 ).

No it isn't! The Mondeo ST220 has a 3.0 natural aspired V6 engine, i'm 200% sure cause I used to work at the Ford factory at Genk where all the Mondeo's were made.

The last ST220 was made in 2006, the new Mondeo has a 2.5Turbo that's the only correct thing you told.

That's one lesson for you ;-)
