The last war is not something the so called "International humanitarians" can use to throw a party on and draw more attention. C4 should remember that it cost a grave number of loses to Sri Lanka as a country. The war was an expense LTTE so eagerly asked for, and the warring government was elected for. The Tamil Diaspora will probably never return. It is us who should live in this country without further killing. C4 does little to help that motive, instead it sparks up the dying tensions.
This war was eventually meant to be, even though I greatly oppose what happened. The LTTE never agreed to a diplomatic solution. Whenever it declared a cease fire was to strengthen its military force and go back to war. It was the polarization factor of Sri Lanka which intensified the racism of the society both at the Tamil end as well as the Sinhala end. If it ever showed a sign of diplomacy people wouldn't have elected a warring leader. We hate war as much as other countries do.

For a start, I didn't see any mentions of the LTTE firing on the civilians trying to escape NFZ to the government controlled area. The last war is not something the so called "International humanitarians" can use to throw a party on and draw more attention. C4 should remember that it cost a grave number of loses to Sri Lanka as a country. The war was an expense LTTE so eagerly asked for, and the warring government was elected for. The Tamil Diaspora will probably never return. It is us who should live in this country without further killing. C4 does little to help that motive, instead it sparks up the dying tensions.

This war was eventually meant to be, even though I greatly oppose what happened. The LTTE never agreed to a diplomatic solution. Whenever it declared a cease fire was to strengthen its military force and go back to war. It was the polarization factor of Sri Lanka which intensified the racism of the society both at the Tamil end as well as the Sinhala end. If it ever showed a sign of diplomacy people wouldn't have elected a warring leader. We hate war as much as other countries do.

I'm not going to wash the hands of the Sri Lankan military, but I feel C4 has left out a lot of details in describing the crimes against the civilians during the last war. For a start, I didn't see any mentions of the LTTE firing on the civilians trying to escape NFZ to the government controlled area. The sole purpose, as I saw was to point the allegations solely towards the government forces.
