Come to new york and see the price. A single family in not so good area and about 1200 sq feet asking price 300k. The tax $1200. I m talking aboit lower ny state where the actual job market is.

US Home Auction is a SCAM in itself.... You know why people in these news stories don't end up with the homes they bid on ? Because you bid against the auctioneer who is working for the seller. The auctioneer is ALLOWED to bid up the price against YOU for the SELLER.... WHAT A SCAM !!! LET THE HOMES ROT. Google it, or go to their own website are read their rules....

It's unethical to forclose on those of whom are fallen on tough times and are really trying to make some sort of payment to keep their home. The bank had rather take it away from them and allow it to sit empty and they get nothing for as long as it's not been sold.. in lieu of taking a $900 payment if the family cannot make their $1200 payment. Makes no sense.... and points to a "power" issue... and I say LET THE BACK SIT ON THE EMPTY HOUSE UNTIL IT HATCHES! Don't support the criminal banks!!!!!

In regards to Michigan, there are homes selling for as little as $1 if you're good with a hammer. But you can get a really nice home for under 10,000. I don't live in Michigan, but I did my homework and the area isn't all that good but the homes are dirt cheap.
