This is probably how Eric and Dylan's friends felt after the shooting and everyone was blaming them for what happened. Everyone thought their friends knew something but that wasn't the case at all. Eric and Dylan never told their friends what they were going to do. Yeah there were signs but they thought they were joking and not taking for serious.

police investigations are never inaccurate. for example, people don't know this but, what you tell a police officer, will not be held in court except for the fact you are supposedly admitting to a crime. as it is confirmed that 98% of what the police write is either false or inaccurate. confessing to a police is like confessing to a lie detector. neither are accurate.
