Yeah, me too. I got into the Smith's at a weird time, around 1998 before the revived interest. I picked up "Singles" at my local mall, not knowing what to expect but hoping for something different than teen pop garbage. After a few songs worth of feeling perplexed I burst into laughter at the chorus of children singing "Hang the DJ". I had not only found a quality alternative but a critical one. Been hooked ever since :)
