Not pure Thrash Metal. It sounds more like Industrial Metal. Like Fear Factory in the mid-1990s. Very interesting, because Fear Factory released their album "Demanufacture" one year later (!!!).

there clearly not nu-metal becuz 1) there from early 1990's nu-metal didnt come in soetime after grunge which is close to 1998 or somethin. and 2) there music is awesome and it sounds good and theres no synthesizer or whatever slipknot has for a DJ or somethin. and 3) sure the singer is almost bald and looks weird headbanging but does it matter?
