@josht617 They never lost Koichi, because he still stayed with them during Machine and Shadow Zone recording to help them out for the computer animated sounds you always hear. He just did not want to tour anymore for awhile. When Tripp got arrested Wayne said that he was going to ask Koichi and if he said no then they would have been a trio. Coz he didnt want people to think the X meant a revolving door for guitarists and drummers.

Static-X NEVER disappointed with their live performance. never never. they fucking rocked every time i've seen them. and sounded so close to the album. says a lot about them and their attention to detail, and it says a lot about the crew they worked with. great stuff.

@bigblackninja101 mainly due to leveling, theyre performing live on TV and its up to how the band was miced up on the drums and amps, aswell as the mics, and getting the soundcheck perfect, but when it really comes down to it, they only really get a perfect level after a couple songs, they channel them once they start playing. live on TV they play one song and probably dont get the perfect sound check. the band is amazing live, ive seen them and its a totally different experiace

@bigblackninja101 because it is more nerve wracking, they cant take breaks to breathe properly, the crowd makes ambient noise that the mics cant pick up, but the musicians can and it puts them off tune, often they hve to use amps and equipment they are not used to using and they cant do retakes if they make a mistake.
