dont get why people think these suck, i have one and yhou gotta know how to use the eq, if its ont set right, it sounds like dog piss, but with a good pedal, or perfect eq, its badfreakinass. use a metal muff with top boost to get super badass metal tones

@englishray1 Dude I've got an MG50FX which is 50 watts and it's so damn loud that when I accidently hit the plectrum on a string my window glass shattered n cracked, door vibrated from it's joints, books moved here and there a bit and I almost lost my hearing permanently, after that I never passed the first dot in volume level.

@surferboy14lp No it doesnt have mid. It does have it on the clean channel but not on overdrive

I think of contour as the "smoothness," the higher u have it, the smoother the sound

....hope that helps :)

@guitarist6494 oh cool. Sorry but i've tried tons of Ibanez guitars with those Edge IIIs and i gotta say i'm disgusted with them. They feel really weak and they can't handle heavy divebombs as well as Floyd Rose trems. Nearly every Licensed Floyd Rose I've tried is exponentially better, and they guitars that have those in the same price range are just as good... Mind you this is all my opinion from my personal experiences. Still, nice playing.

yeh ive heard alot of criticism about the edge |||. I cant say its perfect but mines fine and have no problems with it.

...But do know the difference with Floyd Rose Liscensed and Floyd Rose Original? Apparantley one is better than the other in a different way. But i know for a fact any Floyd Rose is better than an Edge ||| anyday, i just dont know how much better....

@guitarist6494 Exponentially better. you can do deeper divebombs faster, and the floyd rose locking nut is better than any other available. Yeah the licensed Floyd Rose trems can have some problems but are still better than EDGE trems. The Floyd Rose originals are directly from Floyd Rose and have the best quality and design. They stay in tune the best and have freakin' awesome flutter effects. However this makes them rather difficult to find on a guitar that costs less than $1000...

I put the master volume on 10.

But be careful with the overdrive channel volume !

1or 2 is enough for me.

When you want to switch between than you have to set the gain from the clean channel and the volume from the overdrive to match.

For overdrive G N R tone :Gain6,5 or 7, Bass 7 ,Mids 3 to cleanup your tone ,

Treb 7 Chorus 3 Reverb 3

Master Volume 7, Channel Volume 3 or as loud as you want. EQ pedal in front of amp 100 0,

200 3, 400 7 ,800 10,1.6 7,3.2 3,6.4 10
