  • Beautiful

  • i love the design!

  • mm fondant does taste so much better than pre made fondant. if anyone is following the youtube instruction for making it - I have found making only half a batch at a time works a lot better - you can always combine the two batches.

and now there is something out there called Fondarific - with a buttercream flavor - the testimonials make me want to at least try it :D

  • wow Christina - you have 'the gift' - someof us have to work a lot harder just to get things all even and square - lol

  • Christina, where did you buy the impression mat?

  • I have problem to put the fondant on a square cake, at the corners, yours is so nice! I use MM fondant.

  • Hi there....I've never used home made fondant. I hear its dificult to work with. Try using a store bought one, u might have better luck....

  • Hi Criscake, that cake is just beautiful. I Love it. Don't underestimate the homemade fondant. The MM fondant taste really great. Much better than the store bought one.

Give it a try. You may not want to turn back. lol. I've used store bought fondant for my first cake and my children asked never to do that to a cake again. It looked great but they peeled off the fondant and ate the cake. It's nice when everyone enjoy the entire thing.

  • @criscake Hi I have not ever made a fondant cake and I REALLY want to make one, me and my mom are going up to get ingredients for fondant but where would I by store made fondant?

    P.S. Your cakes are beautiful

  • How did you make the pattern on the cake? What did you use? Thank You! Beautiful!

  • im guesing a paper towel

  • you can purchase rolling pins with different patterns on them. You roll your fondant to the desired shape and size, then go over it with the decorative rolling pin.

  • Very elegant solution to the back seam problem. thank you for the idea!

  • i like this one the most. awesome job

  • lussster dussst!

  • do you sell these cakes, are you a baker, do you have your own cake shop?

  • it dont look like a cake but its awesome

  • hi criscake.. i love this one. congratulation! it's perfect!!! can you give me the recipe for the fondant or the gumpaste. i really want to learn and try it for my kids. i'm always viewing all your cakes. so amazing!!!

  • Hi there, I would love to but I buy my fondant and my gumpaste. I know that there are alot of people that make their own, but I prefer the finish look of a store bought fondant. Satin Ice is a very good fondant if u want to try!

  • here i have a recipe, and if u said that u have kidz ,i think they will love to 'work 'with u....1 bag marshmallow (small ones),3 tbsp of water.and 1 bag of powdered sugar.....u will nedd one big bowl and place ur marshmellow +3 tbsp water in the micro, and let the marshmallow to melt..after that add the sugar, and play with it ,forming a dough....add food colorant if u like ....and then u can make whatever shape u want out of the dough....hope u and ur kidz enjoy this..
