The reason she wrote the song is because her idiot dad was cheating on her mom.

She felt embarassed to tell anyone but her sister, Hayley, so they wrote the song together.

Her other song "Gypsy Woman" was also for a really similar reason. Her Dad was cheating on her with some Gypsy and the gypsy broke up a big part of her family.
