  • Are there any prostitutes in Nuuk? And what if I want to get some marihuana?

  • Thank you for posting this vid. Someday I'll visit your magnificent country.

  • I really want to visit this place but communication is the biggest problem considering that most of them speak Greenlandic or am I wrong & people do know English!

  • How are prices in Greenland for Food and Gas? So high like in Iceland and Norway ore lower? Would like to visit Nuuk.

  • @wodanowitz Gas: extremely low, compared to the rest of the world, because of a political arrangement in order to maintain the hunting for the ones making a living of hunting in Greenland. They have to use boats, snowmobiles etc. to go hunting.

Food: The products that have to be flown in from outside Greenland are of course very expensive because of the transportation costs. Products that are shipped are maybe very similar to IS & NO.

  • @wodanowitz But when a whole country can survive, even though it's expensive compared to other places in the world - so can you! Come to visit Nuuk!! :D

  • @ivalunuuk........ what would be the best time for visiting Nuuk? Summer, Winter?

I'm very interessted, lets keep in touch.

    Greetz, Wodz.

  • @wodanowitz Spring! April/May, would be the perfect time! :)

You can always send me a message on here, and I'll try to help you the best I can :))

  • greenland is so huge and the people are few, makes me wonder if i could just fly into parts of the island and conquer the land w/o anyone knowing..

  • @jsD02 You'd be conquering nature - and nature cannot be conquered, nature is it's own.

So go ahead and try ;)

  • @ivalunuuk haha, not as in conquering nature, but like building houses on part of the land and living in isolation without anyone knowing. is that possible?

  • @jsD02 lol, THAT you can ! ;) There's a urban(ancient) myth that goes, that people actually do that. Live fully isolated out in no man's land, surviving as a mere human being! ö You could become that ;)

  • Jochimo the eskimo

  • great footage

  • No McDonald's in Greenland. The one place they haven't gotten to :p

  • @ivalunuuk

No Mc Donald's in Greenlad? LOOOOL another good reason to move to......

Please find me a job in Nuuk.....maybe you're in desperate need of a teacher of italian :)

  • wait... "favorite café in town"? there is only one cafe I guess :)

  • haha no, there are plenty cafés! at least 5.

  • what the hell, Greenland is the most random place for anyone to live/ vacation. WTF!?

  • It's just unknown to you, I guess :p :))

  • Okay...

  • great answer....

  • @sunslap It is not so random acutally. Inn fact it is a great place to go for nature, whale watching and so forth../ but I would only recommend the smmer, unless you really like snow.

  • GOOD

  • Ive been to this cafe last year on my trip to Nuun it was very cosy and there was an internet cafe upstairs. Had my cake and coffee before walking another 20 min to the ship going to Illulisat. It took 48 hours through the rough waves of the atlantic and amaaaaazing sceneries. Greenland is BEAUTIFUL :))

  • I gotta go to Greenland one day, and maybe start living there for the rest of my life! Hmm... Getting to Greenland from Poland (Central/Eastern Europe) isn't that hard :]

  • I do also want to go to greenland, I really hate sweden.

  • you could always movie to Pajala, it's almost the same as Nuuk

Uppsala ain't too bad, not even in Flogsta.

  • me encantaria irme alli!!desde madrid saludos

  • Bienvenidos

  • I also want to go to Greenland!!!! Greetings from Las Vegas!!!!

Does anybody know how to get to Greenland from the US???

  • Try getting past that big ocean on your right, and dont forget to go north too

  • From the US, go to Iceland or Copenhagen. Then take Air Greenland to Greenland. You can use Air Greenland or other transportation to get to other places within Greenland.

  • Thanx!!!

  • Or you could join the USAF and get posted to Thule. LOL

  • you can fly to keflavik in iceland, there is an international airport. icelandair flies there from usa. then, take a bus to reykjavik (some 50 kms), there is reykjavik airport and from this airport you can take air iceland or atlantic airways to gronland. check those airlines in wikipedia.

  • I hope that you will come to Greenland one day, too! :D

  • You hope that we come to Argentina one day? ..or..? My spanish is veeery limited... lol

  • That's great !

  • hahaha, you're joking

  • Fint kafé! Jag vill åka till Grönland någondag!

  • Greenland welcomes you - haha :D

  • Greenland seems like such a fascinating and interesting place to live or visit! Over the years, I talked to several Ham Radio (Amateur Radio) operators there. I would love to visit one day, if time and/or health permits...

  • Suddenly, Greenland isn't so lonely anymore!^_^

  • I never realized it was lonely...?

  • Don´t worry about your spanish, because nor my english is very good. Well, I wrote literally: "I had never seen people of Greenland. Amazing. Very interesting." So, I knew that people live in Greenland, but just I never seen a video from greenland people.

You know, I think is great the big diversity of people and cultures that exist in the planet. I never stop of surprise me of that.

  • Nunca había visto gente de Groenlandia... muy interesante. Increíble.

  • I er bare japan wannabees! Men sjovt kreativ mine film om Café.
