  • Beautiful, many blessings to your family.

  • how is it having a baby in water? i have had 3 in the hospital i ben thinking about having a water birth at home im 6 months along think it be relaxing

  • I'm crying now.. That music.. Aww.. ;_;

  • you are like john &kate plus eigt

  • You had 8 KIDS?!

  • you have 8 kids!!!!!!

  • 1998....your child must be 11 years old this year!!!! congrats!!! :)

  • That was beautiful. I have three children & plan on having more. I thought about home births with the others but didn't do it. I will do it with the next!

  • Very Heartfelt

  • Women just remember we are not all the same what may be easy for this woman may not be so for you...get medical advice befor you decide to give birth at home....For some women having a baby isnt that easy... Ive had 3 babies my first 2 were not easy births, my 3rd was & we call he lucky last....But i would not consider home birth even so.....Lovely family though...congrats....

  • Seems like a beautiful way to start a new life....so calming and relaxed with family around....Great Kudos for U! You have inspired me to think about natural and home birth with my next child!

  • love the first song :-)

  • the first song is river lullaby by amy grant

the second song is didnt leave nobody but the baby by emmylou harris

  • Whoa, is that a cattle trough!? I didn't even think of that- that's perrrfect! (No sarcasm here- hated using the kiddie pool and abandoned it. Watering troughs like some have on their farms would be perfect- nice and deep, nice and spacious.. gotta get one!)

  • the second song is from O brother O where art thou, It has Gillian welch and Allison Krauss for sure, It is on my mp3 player listed as such

  • amazing!

what is the first song called?

    x

  • guppie would be an awesome nic name :)

  • beautiful.... i was born at home after a previous c-section my mother had, which was not very common at that time. i would love to have a home birth; my two daughters were born in the hospital... wonderful experience, but the calm comforts of home beat the hospital any day.

  • congradulations u guys...

wats the name of that song??

im thinking of having a home birth.

  • lol i was 2 then in 1998

  • why do people do homebirth instead of hospital birth????

  • in the netherlands it's quite common. 1/3 of all births are at home there.

We in belgium (the neighbours) are completly different, a lot of belgiums even don't know about the possibility.

So close to eachother and still such a big difference. I surely hope I can have a homebirth... but first: getting pregnant ;) .

  • great family realy great i hope i will have like this family in futuer

  • Born in a horse trough !

  • Shows what birth is supposed to be like .. thanks for sharing. I am glad to see the child playing with the bulb syringe instead of use on baby. Love the images of daddy and babies. Watch trailer for "The Other Side of the Glass: A Birth Film for Fathers".

  • i was almost born at home but my mom was in 2 much pain so she went to the hospital..

  • aaww beautiful video, thank you for sharing

  • Wow, this is really great. No bright lights, no "coming into the world shock" for the baby, no unnecessary poking and prodding. You gave your daughter a really cool start into life! Congrats.

  • You people are beautiful! I'm 3 months pregnant on my first and you made me really feel good with this video!

  • wow, i wonder what your kids will think when they find out that they were born in ur bedroom

  • Actually this one was born in a birthing tub in the reading room. She's quite proud of it and often proclaims, "I'm a water baby!"

  • It's really unfortunate for all these children that you think bringing life into a shitty planet is ok.

  • The planet I live on isn't so bad. My children seem to be enjoying it.

  • i feel sorry for you - you are a sad sad person : (

    (great video! thanks for sharing)

  • Perfect that someone with "kill" in their id name hates life. You must put off some nasty negative energy where ever you go. No wonder the world is "shitty" to you.

  • To killperryinc:

Then having so many children, and hopefully training them up in the ways of the Lord, and loving them and spending time with them and providing for them, helps to make the world over time, a much better place.

I have long advocated the natural flow of human life unhindered by nasty, awkward, side-effect-ridden, anti-family "birth control." Rather than taking "precautions" against possible human life, wouldn't our children prefer that we let our babies just push out naturally?

  • there are many medical reasons which taking birth control makes infinitely more bearable. my menstrual cramps were horrid, and on the pill,i barely notice them. i can get back to work and am not bed-ridden for 12 weeks per year with nasty period cramps.

  • killperryinc is correct. This world is becoming so overpopulated and causes people struggle or fight each other to survive.

  • Just the way that it should be done.

We are preparing for our 5th home birth (6 in total) in Sept of this year, and I believe that the experience has empowered me as a woman & as a mother in so many ways. Well done to your midwife for encouraging you & your family to embrace birthing the way that our bodies intended, the way that women embraced birthing for thousands of years...

  • so you have like 7 kids in all?

  • Eight, actually. Tory Cory Rory Clory Lory Jory Glory and Story (as in end of story).

  • cool! hehehehe, it must be fun for a kid having 7 siblings, I only have 2...

  • Lindo vídeo, podem me dizer o nome da música quando começa o vídeo?

    Obrigada

  • AH THE DEVIL AT 2:12!! jk jk awsome music and congrats..

  • Beautiful video...does anyone know who sings the second song? Thanks!

  • It is from the "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack. Here is the information:

"Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby - Gillian Welch, Alison Krauss & Emmylou Harris"

  • u have 8 kids. wow thts pretty amazing.

  • No, nothing amazing about it. We have so much fun. The big kids help take care of the little kids. The little kids entertain (and torment) the big kids. They each are interested in different things so life is full of variation and color. We all live on my modest income, but my wife and I feel rich.

  • wow you are so amazing i hope u have a very long and happy life. what are there names?

  • Tory, Cory, Rory, Clory, Lory, Jory, Glory, and Story (no kidding).

  • loldo ur kids do anything for u though?

  • Yes, they work hard around the place (not always happily, though) :)

  • lol

  • i live in family of 7 children! its nice to know that there is familys like mine!

  • You look like a happy group!

  • WOW congrats dudes wow I thought that i had I tough with 3

  • 8???? Bless your hearts!

  • what song is this?? i love it!!!

  • its sorta like the song from the prince of egypt river lullaby

  • it's from prince of egypt it's called deliver us. It's supposed to be when she puts moses in the river. Thats the answer if your talking about the first song.

  • Three of our six children were born at home with midwives. What an amazing, joyous experience it was! I'd do it all again!

  • congrats!!!! my sister has 6 children and she had then all at home with a midwife.

  • what a beautiful example of how family centered birth can be,

and how strong a woman is.

    i love the second song,

    what a rich voice.

    thanks for posting!

  • Whoa, I wouldn't because

    what would happen if she

    needed her SeaSection???

    Well, was it gross where

did she have in like one

    serton room?Well What a-

    bout the blood what abo-

    ut that!?

    -Mbl1234

  • SEA section????

  • a SEAsection, huh? wow.

  • Your wife must be a wonderful resource on birth, having experienced mutliple hospital-deliveries and multiple homebirths. It would be wonderful to hear some of what she's learned about birth, herself and motherhood. :D Thank you for posting! :D

  • how was it. i would love 2 do so

  • It was one of the most wonderful experiences we have ever had. We had four in the hospital, but after this experience, we had the rest (three more) at home.

  • WOW. IT WAS AMAZING TO WATCH

  • It means you have 8???

  • Yes, eight children. Never a dull moment!

  • Holy crud, LOL. My hat's off to you. I have my hands full with just ONE! Eight blows my mind to think about! :)

  • oh my lord that must be very loud did you have them all naturaly? and at home?

  • Yes, it is very noisy around the house, but usually a happy noise. We had the first four in the hospital. Then my wife talked me into trying a homebirth. After I interviewed the midwife I agreed. It was such a wonderful experience for us that we had the rest at home.

  • Thanks for posting your wonderful empowered birthed birth story tkdtoad. My hope is that one day majority of women will understand the safety of homebirth.
