i could play the song off by heart actually, same with wii music and wii sports theme but, i instead went with wii musics help on this due to laziness :P
yes and yes to the help with songs and instruments... but not completely. all it can help you with is just to show you what notes to play during a song and then there is instrument improv for learning how to play the different instruments.
i memorized some of the songs i played on here like wii music theme, turkey in the straw and wii sports theme, as well as o christmas tree and a few others.

So it CAN help u with songs and playing ur insturment? like, does it have a line of circles or something like GH?
