Out of all the seasons I have watched, these two are the couple that I feel have had the most fun and got along so well. They were fun to watch. When you consider Max and Hope this year, you could sometimes see the tension between them on the dance floor. It was very obvious that they clashed. Hopefully next season they find more couples that got along like Mark and Shawn did.

Micheal Jackson's "P.Y.T." song + the cha cha cha + a short and pretty teenage girl = an explosion of cute. This is one of the best cha chas I've ever seen. Crisp footwork, with plenty of cheeky and flirty moves. The choreography has some hip and funky moves while still incorporating enough traditional cha cha steps to keep Mr. Goodman happy. Shawn should have gotten a perfect score for this dance both the first time AND the second time.
This is my fav dance from this couple. And I love this song and Michael Jackson; that tribute the pro dancers just did was breathtaking. Mark's choreo is amazing and just right for this song and Shawn-He's on fire in this dance. And I love his outfitXD. Long Live Michael Jackson.

This is probably my 100th time watching the vid! Shawn and Mark are amazing dancers and it fit's perfectly with the music! "I want to love you, 'PYT' Pretty young thing!" It's absolutely AMAZING.

i loooove this dance and although they didnt get a perfect score here i believe that they should have.. i think they did a better job here than the finale....... the dance for the finale had look a bit sloppy on shawn's part, it almost loked like she was rushing the moves.. dont get me wrong its a great dance but she could have been more graceful.
I think the week 11 cha cha was just as good at least, especially when you consider the tweaks and improvements they made to it. Also, Shawn seemed to be enjoying herself more on week 11, which the judges definitely noticed.

I think its a standard dance move. Cause if you have watched previous season it has been used before. I know for a fact Mark used it in his cha cha with Kristi and If I am not wrong Karina is in that pose for the pics with her celebrity partner for one of the season. How does he seem gay? He went out with Sabrina and he doesn't seem gay at all. Not every dancer is gay.

no, not because he is a dancer shit i dance like that too (not as good as him). its just becuase he has no chemistry for shawn, and shawn is pooring it out. instances like :56-1:00 shows he doesn't have it, and if you can't show chem for shawn then you must be gay cuz shawn is the cutest thing.

He's 6 years older than Shawn, he's not single, and he's probably not even attracted to Shawn. That still doesn't make him gay. Look at his dances with Sabrina if you want to see him have perfect chemistry with a girl. I thought that his chemistry with Shawn was actually pretty good considering the age difference.

I don't think he doesn't have chemistry with Shawn. They're oozing with chemistry for me. I think it's because she's 17 and he has a gf that he's somewhat distant with Shawn, especially at :56-1:00 as you mentioned.

hes dating joanna somebody from american idol. i dont think he's gay, and i mean, he cant really have much of THAT kind of chemistry for shawn, shes 17 and hes almost 23.

Gotcha. Anyway, in a few years, a six year difference is nothing. However, as much as we'd love to see them together, I think that would be too much of a perfect ending to this fairy tale. Ah well. Shawn is a sweetheart and someone will make her very happy. And if they break her heart, I'll break their legs. ;-)

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe, it is cause she doesn't want people to think because she is a gymnast, that she is using the flexibility to her advantage. Or maybe, she it is because she is a little short, and if she went into a full split she would sink and it might be harder for mark to dance with her?

I think its a standard dance move. Cause if you have watched previous season it has been used before. I know for a fact Mark used it in his cha cha with Kristi and If I am not wrong Karina is in that pose for the pics with her celebrity partner for one of the season. I think it was her pic with last seasons partner. Rocco.

i just think its a matter of opinion.... going into a full split sometimes makes you look small and brakes lines. its all choreography at the end of the day...

Shawn and Mark would make a great couple. Shawn is mature enough for a romantic relationship and Mark probably has a crush on the adorable and cuddly little gymnast. I hope they consider starting a romance.
