@krazyKuteKids Cutting the holes is really simple, just pick where the click wheel and screen will probably line up and cut away. It's pretty easy to figure out :)

My I-pod is like 1 in by 1 1/2 inches. I made one for mine and it looks REALLY shabby! (I just used plain silver duct tape) because I had to cut, tape, recut, tape, and so on :( my hands hurt from ripping duct tape.... Btw awesome tutorial! I never would have figured it out on my own! What about it? If you were making an ipod case for the new nano you would just make it longer, cut out a larger/wider screen cutout on the duct tape, and cut a hole for the camera.

I don't own an ipod touch so I wouldn't be able to post a good tutorial on it. Even though this tutorial is for an ipod nano you can use the same basic design to make a case for an ipod touch (minus the click wheel cutout).

Some of it is just guessing but mostly I measure the square or circle out with a ruler, mark it with pen, and then cut the pieces out smaller than the marks as you can always cut more off.
