lol, France was so distracted by World War I that they failed to notice that overgrown mutant plants, killer knights, giant eyeballs, bloody undead skeletons, and who knows what else had taken over the Palace of Versailles. I'm guessing they had to do a lot of cleanup work before getting the Treaty of Versailles signed, lol.

@Geckogold What's ironic is that when Super Castlevania IV was released, that was considered a new feature for it's time, and yet for some reason, they didn't add it to a lot of the future CV games.

@rossb666 The Master System would have better graphics, but the sound would only be better if the game used the FM soundchip add on that was in the Japanese SMS. If you want to see a Castlevania-like game on the Master System, I suggest you check out Master of Darkness. It's a Castlevania clone that's arguably a better game.

I definitly agree, Eric makes this game too easy. The game is easy already even in the Hardest mode. the Whip FTW.

wow,u got very lucky with the boss...but u did tremendously well...the heart of this stage could be very tricky and hard as hell..but u did it!!!good luck in the finale of this game!!!were counting on u!!!!!
