@XxXPREDx so that the ball slows down coming into the pocket instead of bouncing out, not too sure how well it works though...

@XxXPREDx, it's to prevent the ball from accidentally going in the goal. Basically, the ball can roll up in the pocket if the head's facing upwards, and sometimes it can ramp straight up into the goal. Pushing the head forwards and downward lets the ball fall straight down, if anywhere.
