From what I understood Mark Kerr only took this fight with 2 weeks notice, because the other competitor backed out! I think Kerr probably is past his prime, but if her would get into shape, he could still kick some major ass!!!
There is "The Smashing Machine" that looked like something straight out of a Marvel comic and went 11-0... And then there is this guy, who is 4-11-0-1 and looks like something straight out of your local county jail. Very sad.
What's most impressive about this was how King Mo picked him up like that, Kerr is one heavy looking dude. I think King Mo could be really good, I think he needs to tighten up his boxing though, he gets a little careless & drops his hands a lot, which might work against Mike Whitehead, but isn't going to do him any favors against StrikeForces' elite Heavy Weights ( if that's where he wants to fight) I think he has a chance to be an absolute destroyer though.
I know Kerr graduated from Syracuse University in 1992. Im not sure what degree he received. I think he should focus on a career that doesnt consist of fighting.
Tank, Shamrock, Frye, Coleman, and Kerr need to realize that they were once great at this sport, but they cant fight for ever.
any1 that used to watch kerr knows he was once a beast, an absolute animal, yes his addiction got the best of him for awhile, but kerr is still respected in mma, for what he once was, and the fact that he is still a stand up guy to this day. I dont disagree that he should no longer be fighting, but he's not milking his name, he loves the sport and has always been an incredible athlete, even from his wrestling days. give the man respect while he is on the way out, he earned it years ago.
