you all know Jesse Ventura is a punh line here in America he is look at like a joke, But if it makes you feel like you have someone hat knows what he is talking about more power to you.
IF America ever gets back on-track to a just, equitable, free, citizen-run progressive democracy based on rule of law & civil & human rights (and that's a mighty big 'IF') it will require intelligent, principled, honorable leaders like Ventura (or Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney ...). Ventura is an awesome force for liberty in the USA. He is a great libertarian American. I love the fact that he advocates that "None of the Above" be included on every ballot. Also, he is wrong: the Libertarian Party is not entirely anarchist. The fact that it's a political party makes it minarchist in fact, anyway.

yes lets start a revolution... a mess of pissed off people wih no solutions...this jackass has no solutions...911 was an inside job buswh is evil cheney is evil we all know politicians are full of shit...he has no solutiuons but anger and revenge...if he was in the debates he would be destroyed....his lack of solutions will seal the deal...complaining is not a solution..being angry isnt either...when he starts speaking of solutions people will listen
meh u make an interesting point, but i think he does have solutions such as criminal prosecution of the bush administration, pulling out of the war, dissolving the federal reserve and doing away with the 2 party system just to name a few. as far as terrorism there is no real solution in a free society, if we have freedoms it is possible for terrorist attacks(although i believe the actual "terrorist threat" is dubious at best). people should be angry about what the govt. is doing in their name.
well im reading his book right now...but i know the terrorist threat is real..and killing them in my name is what i want..more than free health car more than capo and trade more than card check for big labor...if we are going to prosecute the bush administration we better do the same to obama..period...obama has ignored the constitution and lied to us daily since being elected also...lets be fair..obama wont even audit the fed..he gave it more power..

Oh okay ... so being a fucking stupid sheep, and just following whatever bullshit your government says is MUUUUCH better than complaining. You're a fucking fool.
Ironically, Ron Paul and Bob Barr are much less anarchist than Jesse Ventura, and they both ran as Libertarians. Jesse should get his head out of his ass and run as a libertarian. Also, he should argue for one hour with Marc Stevens, to find out how anarchist he himself actually is.
Don't complain about ballot access!! Me and my team has gathered thousands of signatures for the Libertarian Party. If you put a website up today, you could easily accomplish it.
About obama, I was happy to see him speak as he spoke.. But to see that he didn't do anything but Not pull out of the war, and raised the deficit as more as it was with W.. What did the people vote for?? Change?? Bullshit.. thats change for worse..
I have Jesse's book. He's a great writer and he's very smart. He's a good honest man and I would definitely campaign for him if he runs for President in 2012. Whos with me?! Get a copy of his book. You will not be sorry!
Jesse is taking a direct approach to what may eventually become a dangerous one for him. The truth is what the government of the US does not want the people to hear, and Jesse is that voice that the people need to vent out their problems............I wish him the best of luck for he will need it............... someone once said "people are like sheep" milk them for everything they got !
If he runs for president in 2012 I will vote for him. He is one of the most sucessfull people ever. Just look at his track record. Hes beeen a navy seal, pro wrestler, professional actor, Talk show host, a mayor and a govener. What the hell can you say about the past recent presidents or canidates accomplishments?
Don't get me wrong, I like A LOT of what Jesse says and believes.......but has anyone noticed that he shakes?? Not just when he talks, but as he sits, his head and body shakes a bit.....is it a slight form of parkinsens?
I think he's just a bit fidgety. I'm the same way. I find that I think and speak most efficiently when I'm moving. If I can't pace, then I'll fidget. I think he's gotten a lot of baseless press for his fidgeting. To someone like me it looks completely natural.
3rd: OK, there is a difference between us on hierarchy. I don't have a problem with people voluntarily entering into hierarchical relationships. Question: would you use physical force to stop people from doing that?
4. Every economic system uses capital and is thus by definition 'capitalist.' Even voluntary socialism.
I think that's a red herring. The real issue it seems is who owns the capital. Ie. Are people free to own it or does the State restrict them?
Libertarians only see the state as their abusive parent. They ignore how capitalism, private property, and the free market are also abusing authorities as well.
Only anarachism (the political definition) wants to treat you like an adult.
Kuragxo: A-narchy in its root definition is simply the opposition to rulers. So, 0-gov't libertarianism fits that criterion.
Secondly, you seem to be implying that 0-gov't libertarianism is opposed to "collectivism." That would be absurd. Human life is always a mixture of both collectivism and individualism.
Kuragxo: I don't see how that's true. Capitalism ('a system based on the use of capital') doesn't require everyone to "seek their own self-interest." Even anarcho-socialism is capitalist as I pointed out previously...
I should clarify that I'm only opposed to hierarchies and authority that is coercively imposed (governmental and not). I would not use physical force to stop people from entering into voluntarily chosen ones...
I think to view charity as "parenting" is cold, detached, and misses the point. I think when both conservatives and libertarians refer to these catch words it is to veil the idea of refusing mandatory care giving for selective charity, or a care giving "honor system", if you will. To say that by taking away someone's survival related safety-net for things such as health care, unemployment, or welfare you are treating them like an adult is severe in it's misappropriated comparison. (cont.)
When we grew into adulthood, our parents (if they were halfway decent) did not throw us out on the street, prepared to watch us starve if we were unable to adapt, or if opportunity did not come our way. I can't in good conscience decide that one individual deserves a healthy life more than the next, because I am not, nor should anyone be, prepared to watch the one I chose as undeserving wither away and die. Humanity and it's nuances must always be injected into cold, calculated politics.
@Zamudiokid that's a good question!...i think a better way of putting it than i did is to say that, instead of "wanting to treat you like an adult" (whatever that means exactly), that they just want to leave you alone.
Ventura was wrong in one thing.. On April 10th 2008 when he was interviewed he was wrong on thinking Ron Paul was over. Just like most Americans were tricked by the media, Ron Paul did not officially drop out until June 14th or so. Why not a Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura run in 2012, they would be a great team.
If you agree with his political views or not you have to respect him because he is straightforward, honest, and says it exactly how it is. And no one else in office does that.
LOL! Yes, I know this is Al Jazeera. I like to read news from around the world, because EVERY nation has news filled with propaganda to manipulate the masses, so I read all the fake news around the world to figure out what is actually going on. I notice that fake news from around the worlds tend to cancel out each other's lies, sort of like how in math, -1 X -1 = +1.
Jesse is right about the fence. In a few years, the way America is going, there may well be more trying to leave than to get in!
Speaking as a "foreigner" I find it hilarious that Americans always refer to themselves as the greatest country on Earth. They think everyone wants to live in the USA. News Flash - I don't. I live in New Zealand and am quite happy we don't have a Government that spies on us and lies to us "for our own protection" like the U.S Government does.
I won't bother replying to you personally anyway, it's ok. I didn't think the war was a good idea and I still think it was one of the biggest mistakes of mankind. I just don't see slamming a whole country for it's leaders mistakes. That "omegasos2000" makes you the narrow minded idiot.
WTF? I liked Ventura but he is ignorant and ill informed on Ron Paul drooping out! I plan to vote or write in PAUL 2008! Ron Paul has said even as recent as a week ago on FOX that he is in it to the end, HE HAS NOT DROOPED OUT PEOPLE! WE STILL HAVE A CHOICE!
Sorry Jesse but you are wrong, he is still running, and no McCain doesn't have enough delegates yet. We are just now voting on delegates in my state at the county level, we haven't even had the State convention yet. All along we were going after delegates not caring about popularity contests which don't actually mean anything. The revolution is on!
no it doesn't make me anymore special then i am and as you are American or live in USA i don't feel chatting with you..SO PLEASE DON'T REPLY to my comments ... I'm sure you have MORE THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT such as invading a new country
gov. ventura is thinking of the manchu invasion in the 1600s. courtesy of wikipedia:
The Manchus were finally able to cross the Great Wall in 1644, when the gates at Shanhaiguan were opened by Wu Sangui, a Ming border general who disliked the activities of rulers of the Shun Dynasty. The Manchus quickly seized Beijing, and defeated the newly founded Shun Dynasty and remaining Ming resistance, to establish the Qing Dynasty.
We need to act. We can all hope and want RP to be president, but if we dont take positive productive actions in our respective communities, RP as president would not be enough. If u r a Citizen, u can run for office in your local government. Be the leader in your community that speaks the truth and has high moral standards. We have to eliminate all the hypocrites running our government, churches and households. U can be the role model.
Ventura is NOT the typical policoid robot. He speaks directly, clearly, doesn't mince words or use phony 'politically correct' double-speak BS. Refreshing to say the least.
'He says Americans are a nation of lemmings"
true...
Ron Paul is blatanty censored, subverted and overtly blacked out in the mainstream "news", but he has not 'dropped out'..although it would seem that way if all you see is controlled MSM TV since they never show him. All you get are typical sell-out CFR clones.
No it is NOT Treason its Unpatriotic NOT to question This is OUR country and WE don't have to put up with BS! Washington, Jefferson they would have never agreed with you about that nor would they agree with the way this country has been run since Abe Lincolns Civil War.. hell Our capital isn't Bush DC or Lincoln DC or Clinton DC its Washington DC .. He and Jefferson are spinning in their graves right now with all the bs thats going on. You can take that to the bank .. Treason? HOGWASH!!
Ron Paul has NOT dropped out! Ron Paul even said that he probably won't get the nomination but still wants people's votes and delegates!
And McCain PROBABLY has the nomination but it's still possible for him not to get it, since the state delegates can vote to unbind their delegates for the national convention. That's why its important to participate and see if you can become a delegate!
Anyways, even if Ron Paul doesnt get the nomination, you should still be a delegate to influence the party
most people are to closed minded to see the deceiptfulness of their governement or elected officials .. what is everyone going to say if obama gets elected and does not bring the troops home??
Ron Paul is not a serious candidate, if he were he would be running as an indy, because when Insane is nominated as a Repub, Paul can no longer to continue as a repub for pres. His being in the race is ridiculous, when he is concentrating on a congressional seat.
He's right.. it's time for a revolution.. this country has essentially become a fascist dictatorship.. patriot act, real ID card legislation, warrantless wiretapping.. Who are the terrorist? Al Qaeda? Last time I checked they were created by the CIA..
9/11 Was an inside job, 7/7 Bombings in London were as well.. so were the Java bombings and Madrid bombings.. It's the same criminal elements doing this all around the world.. The votes are rigged.. we have no other options on the table.
Any amount of money it takes to get you ballot access Mr. Ventura, we the people of the internet will raise for you in the form of a one day donation.
If you can gain access to the ballots, regardless of the cost, we will come through.
Gov. Ventura's misinformed yet insightful response regarding the status of Dr. Paul's Presidential campaign illustrates the pervasiveness of the MSM in the formulation of the perceptions, decisions, and actions of American citizens.
However, it appears Jesse has chosen to walk the path prescribed by Dr. Paul - to stand up and contribute to the movement to restore liberty, prosperity, and peace to the USA.
I'm not sure if Ron Paul has "officially" dropped out. Dr. Paul is still introduced as a Presidential candidate in his talk show appearances, even today.
I'm sure he hasn't dropped out, go to my favorites and playlists, I've been keeping up with the campaign EVERYDAY, 2 times now the media miss-reported saying he dropped out when he didn't.

(cont.)
TaskforceDingbat 2 years ago
When we grew into adulthood, our parents (if they were halfway decent) did not throw us out on the street, prepared to watch us starve if we were unable to adapt, or if opportunity did not come our way. I can't in good conscience decide that one individual deserves a healthy life more than the next, because I am not, nor should anyone be, prepared to watch the one I chose as undeserving wither away and die. Humanity and it's nuances must always be injected into cold, calculated politics.

@atrickpay11 Libertarians want to treat you like an adult in a good way or bad way?
Zamudiokid 1 year ago
@Zamudiokid that's a good question!...i think a better way of putting it than i did is to say that, instead of "wanting to treat you like an adult" (whatever that means exactly), that they just want to leave you alone.
atrickpay11 1 year ago
@atrickpay11 basically meaning that they will have humility for you and respect you. I like that.
Zamudiokid 1 year ago 2
Ventura was wrong in one thing.. On April 10th 2008 when he was interviewed he was wrong on thinking Ron Paul was over. Just like most Americans were tricked by the media, Ron Paul did not officially drop out until June 14th or so. Why not a Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura run in 2012, they would be a great team.

If you agree with his political views or not you have to respect him because he is straightforward, honest, and says it exactly how it is. And no one else in office does that.

Are top news stories are about fucking paris hilton or some other hollywood douche bag
Redstick27 3 years ago 4

Sorry Jesse but you are wrong, he is still running, and no McCain doesn't have enough delegates yet. We are just now voting on delegates in my state at the county level, we haven't even had the State convention yet. All along we were going after delegates not caring about popularity contests which don't actually mean anything. The revolution is on!

gov. ventura is thinking of the manchu invasion in the 1600s. courtesy of wikipedia:

Hope you can help in your community.
