That fan's main use is for an exhaust unit in a shop type environment. It could be older model due to that guard, newer fans typically have finger safe OSHA type guards.
Awesome fan! I would love to put those in my window or wall. The blades look exactly like the ones you seen in vintage central air conditioner units. My dad old 1970 GE central ac unit had blades like that. Mostly like itz from the 80's.
we have lots of those in the greenhouse i work out! exept ours our conciterably larger! and antique from the 50's? ha yeah right! thats 80's right there! i know for sure that motor is not what motors of the 50s looked like! they still had metal tags not stickers. and they tend to be heavy steel or cast iron. and those blades are definently not 50's stlye! cool one though! i like the louvers!
thanks for the info i knew from the start it was from the 70/80's but i thought that the guy replaced the motor. i guess he didn't know. and the only company name i got off of it was canadian amature works corp.
