Meaning this song or Eva Pilarova in general? I'm an obsessed record collector and I discovered her by way of digging through piles of old vinyl in bazars & antikvariats. It's not surprising that one might not hear of her via more mainstream rock channels. As for this song, this is not typical of her style. In fact it's just about the only track I know of by her that treads on psych ground. It's not available on CD,several people have complained about that fact.

Marta Kubisova has more songs in the vein of this one but I think Eva Pilarova is a better singer and can be really exceptional in all styles of music, especially jazz.

Yes, she still performs. She was just on Czech TV a couple of nights ago, my friend recorded it for me. But it was only her speaking about famous actors and actresses from the 70's, no performence. I'll be uploading other stuff by her shortly. I have some rare CDs by her in my ebay store. Just search her name and you'll find them at Allen's House Of Sound on ebay.

Krása!!! Very beautiful thing... I am sad, I have not this super songs, because it´s impossible buy it on Cd or mp3 in Czech republic. I have about 40 Eva´s songs, but only biggist hits,not these great 70´ tracks :-( Thanks for this, and I hope you bring us some more Eva etc. songs and also Tv records.

By the way, the sleeve with the guy holding the electric guitar is a record of Happy New Year messages from Supraphon artists including Eva that I found on my last trip to Czech Republic. Found that in Zlin, to be exact.
