I think the OC used all their best story lines in the first season. They put all their eggs in one basket. After the first season, it never was as good. Thats what separates the great shows from the good shows, if the second season can keep the same quality as the first season.

yeah, they gave out too much too fast & eventually gave way to the show ending faster. The stories went to quick and didn't develop much which made for interesting episodes and high ratings but eventually it wouldnt cut it in the end. But hey, Josh Schwartz progressed a lot more in Gossip girl seeing that everyone likes that show. funny how he went from rich teens in california to rich teens in new york.

they were only wearing the jew hats because they were paying their respects to the cohens and their family traditions. When you go to an event, it's most rational to accustom to whatever their traditions are even if they're not yours, since it's their special event. It's called dress attire.
yah, they could have at least waited until season 4 to kill marissa off the show. That way we would have had 3 seasons of comedy instead of 2 and not just a depressing season. I think somewhere after the 2 seasons, the writers started giving up b/c they coudn't come up with any interesting stories to write about anymore. It's easy to start a hit show but it's not easy to keep it a hit all the way through.
this show was the best there was.. Everytime i see these scenes i want to see all the seasons again but then I remember how sad this show actually is. I think all the viewers have at least cried once watching the oc.
Its a real shame that it is cancelled but i do think it was the right thing to do. I think the show died as soon as Marissa died. And taylor just couldnt fill her place.
We all say Marissa and Ryan fall in love have there dramas but we always knew they were the perfect couple.

Only thing is, I stopped watching (except for the finale) when they brought in the missing sister who was the bad girl. Up until then, I was a loyal fan. There, I've said it.
My dad gives me so much shit for watching it. I'm a 16 year old guy and when I'm not watching the O.C I'm shooting guns and burning the tires of my truck. I guess I'm just a very complicated person. I cried two or three times throughout the whole show too haha.

yah, they could have at least waited until season 4 to kill marissa off the show. That way we would have had 3 seasons of comedy instead of 2 and not just a depressing season. I think somewhere after the 2 seasons, the writers started giving up b/c they coudn't come up with any interesting stories to write about anymore. It's easy to start a hit show but it's not easy to keep it a hit all the way through.

this show was the best there was.. Everytime i see these scenes i want to see all the seasons again but then I remember how sad this show actually is. I think all the viewers have at least cried once watching the oc.
Its a real shame that it is cancelled but i do think it was the right thing to do. I think the show died as soon as Marissa died. And taylor just couldnt fill her place.
We all say Marissa and Ryan fall in love have there dramas but we always knew they were the perfect couple.

i think marissa's only problem was that she was really dramatic, and none of her problems actually happen to that many people. but i think she kinda played ryan. i didnt like that, ryan is a sensative guy and marissa used him. i know its just a show, but i dont want it to end. =(

My dad gives me so much shit for watching it. I'm a 16 year old guy and when I'm not watching the O.C I'm shooting guns and burning the tires of my truck. I guess I'm just a very complicated person. I cried two or three times throughout the whole show too haha.
