Excellent. Remarquable. Très proche de l'interprétation de Kempf, en tout cas dans ce 1er mouvement. Et justement : qu'apporte-t-il de plus que le vieux maître allemand ? Avec une vision assez similaire "minérale", monochrome, je préfère la réalisation de Kempf, plus habitée à mon sens. Encore plus tendue, en clair-obscur.

Asciutto nel linguaggio del lirismo melodico, tensione emotiva interiorizzata, analisi strutturale attraverso gli elementi organici della composizione, scomposti e poi esposti all'ascoltatore con una semplicità dietro cui si nasconde il vero senso intimo della composizione. Si tratta di un universo differente dai sistemi interpretativi di Michelangeli o Backhaus, siamo di fronte all'Espressionismo tecnologico del 2000, in fatto di interpretazione, uno specchio dei nostri tempi !!!

By chance what dvd was this concert from? the second movement was on youtube with pollini but it disappeared....the emotion he conveys at the end of the second movement makes you cry because i think he is,,,,Unbelieveable.......

Confrontate questa performance con quella di Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Pollini è un grande artista, ma ABM riesce anche a dare emozioni! Confrontate poi la tecnica, è totalmente diversa, e poi vogliamo mettere l'eleganza, ABM è sempre elegantissimo, e lo straordinario senso della misura del pianista bresciano: assolutamente inarrivabile.
