hey Joe because you don't believe in the idealolgies of some organization like a particular religion does'nt mean you hate it. You can haave your own beliefs and way of life but still love the people that are christian just disagree with some of their viewpoints. Religion in all forms are about brainwashing people and taking away their free thinking and that is what I am getting from this. I don't see any hypocrisy here at all, maybe a little feminism, but there is nothing wrong with that.

tori amos is an unbelievable talent and writes some of the best modern songs ever written.. i own all her albums and really appreciate her music... she is however a total hypocrite... she rants on and on about intolerance yet has to be , based on the interviews i've heard from her, one of the most intolerant people i have ever heard...her irrational and illogical hatred of christianity is almost comical...what a sad person she is

i also love tori and her music, but I have to disagree with you on a few points. we all become a hypocrite at some time in our life whether we know it or not. at no point in time have i heard her say "i hate christianity".  have you heard or read where she said such a thing? yes she does make fun of it and speaks openly about not being a christian. i too am not a christian and i, like tori, was raised in a preacher's home. i have never heard her force her opinion on anyone. how is that sad
