I did lose a bearing on my 1st gear main shaft. Tranny looked like a grenade went off inside it. Once we rebuilt it, that car held every launch I threw at it and have since sold it to my bro whos has it for 18 months now with zero issues (added AFC tune and cams sinc ethen too.) Single syncro tranny sucked for shifting but that tranny had 40K on hard launching on it. I call that tough.
