What do you suppose was wrong with it? I came to learn what the term on a workout plan I read meant since I was unfamiliar. I found I did *know* the move, just by a different name. But, if I was - say - my mom or someone new to fitness, I think I'd understand the move, have varying levels and hear his breathing. I'd be glad he showed all angles and was slow enough at first to really follow. What was so bad to you?

@TinaKim ... you're supposed to exhale as if breathing thru a straw to help expand your lungs and also avoid an aneurism from straining and not exhaling while exerting.... its actually pretty hard not to make a noise like that. just be thankful that he's not making grunting noises.
I do burpees sometimes with my Vibram Five Fingers on or barefoot. But, I worry about putting too much stress on my toes when going to the ground. Have you had any problems/pain doing them barefooted?
Thats a good idea. Just enough training to adapt, like a stimulus. No need to overtrain. Try combining with some strength, like a pullup. Try to do a lot of flexibility, when you are too sore. Thank you for viewing!!
@fogonabomba2 hes not bodybuilding... this is cardio... fat loss exercises, not that this guy is over weight, cardio is just good for overall health. and will help strengthen your cardio vascular system

Do you have info to back up what you're saying? Squat thrusts pose a greater risk for injury. That is what was taught to us in a college level PE class.
the US military has plenty of info for you. Would you not chop wood because its high risk? running is more high risk. Lifting weights on machines is extremely high risk. Getting into a brawl at a college level PE class...... very low risk.

@Thunderhouse2 ultimately, impressing the opposite sex is what fitness is all about. If you're fitter, you look better, live longer, and are more successful. Theoretically, anyway...
they do that for speed to get into the next repitition. but honestly i like putting my hands up during it because it stretches the muscles of the core.
